Imagine you're having a baby boy TODAY. What do you call him?

(And yes, I am, and no, I have no idea. We keep changing our minds)

Congratulations! And welcome to your lovely calm boy.

I love short names for boys like Kit, Ted and Ned.

Having said that, I really wanted to call one of my boys Jonty but DH vetoed that!

Enjoy him. Xx

sassytheFIRST · 23/08/2014 16:28

Very excited to read that baby Truth has arrived. Congratulations!

If you don't go with ds1's suggestion Wink, I'd say Theo, Joseph (the biblical Joseph must gave been a calm sort to have gone ahead with the wedding to Mary under those circs!) or my personal fave Lucas.

Bowlersarm · 23/08/2014 16:26

Rufus or Kit

rachel234 · 23/08/2014 16:23

Congrats! How about
Dominic
Quentin
Lawrence

MummyBeerest · 23/08/2014 16:13

Congratulations!

I think Oliver would be a lovely name for a calm baby boy, because it means olive branch, a symbol of peace.

But Theo, omg, that'd be adorable.

Enjoy Flowers

Theodore, Oscar or Louis.

Frikadellen · 23/08/2014 15:13

Otis.. But OMG Cecil and Walter are great names.. Bertram a possibility too

Mutteroo · 23/08/2014 09:22

Congratulations OP!

I knew a very calm Daniel but his parents were both very calm & so genes played their part more than the name.

I would probably call my surprise baby boy either:
Theodore
Monty
Eli/Elijah

CheerfulYank · 23/08/2014 08:04

Andrew, because that's DH's name and he is incredibly calm

Hakluyt · 23/08/2014 08:01

Patrick.
