Love Meredith! After that I would say Annabel then Matilda.

AlpacaYourThings · 14/09/2014 09:13

Matilda is nice, but very popular.

Annabelle is nice, but I don't like 'Anna' or 'Belle' as abbreviations.

Meredith is lovely but is definitely a marmite name!

SanityClause · 14/09/2014 09:09

Both Matilda and Annabel are quite popular, ATM, so I would go with Meredith, of the three.

I had a friend at school with this name.

ashesandfire · 14/09/2014 09:07

Also agree that I prefer spelling Annabel to Annabelle. it seems less fussy.

ashesandfire · 14/09/2014 09:06

All are pretty. I'm slightly bored by Matilda and Annabelle though as hear them a lot. Especially Annabelle - and there seem to be dozens of Belles where I live. I do really love simply Anna though, and would choose that if it was on your list!
I really like Meredith so would say that's my favourite as it's less common. It's strong but pretty and you could use Merry or Edie as nns when little which are both really cute.

mathanxiety · 13/09/2014 23:55

I dislike Meredith -- to my ear it has a harsh sound.

I like Matilda and Annabel equally, but don't like the spelling Annabelle.

Kaekae · 13/09/2014 23:04

Like Matilda but too overused. Loads at our school and the same with Annabelle. Would go for Meredith.

CruCru · 08/09/2014 14:21

I like Meredith then Matilda. I don't like Annabelle at all, there are so many of them. Would you be put off Meredith by all the Amanda Knox stuff though?

chaya5738 · 08/09/2014 10:31

I love Meredith. And Merry for short is cute.

The others are way too popular now.

BlackberryandNettle · 05/09/2014 20:10

Like them all! Love Annabe most, then Meredith. Matilda used to be a favourite but has got a bit popular, not keen on nicknaneMillie as there are so many, also not keen on Mattie although Tilda is cool.

EthelredOnAGoodDay · 29/08/2014 13:49

Also agree Annabel without the 'lle'.
Not keen on the other two really.

Allalonenow · 29/08/2014 13:33

Matilda
Annabelle

Meredith

TerribleMother · 29/08/2014 13:26

Sorry, Matilda.

TerribleMother · 29/08/2014 13:26

Meant to say, find annabelle too girly and Mathilda too popular.

TerribleMother · 29/08/2014 13:25

I love Meredith! It is strong but feminine IMO. It was our chosen dd name, had we not had four ds's. Would almost have no 5 for the chance to have a Meredith. Almost.

zingally · 29/08/2014 13:20

The first 2 are nice, not keen on Annabelle, or not spelt like that. Too cutesy. Only acceptable spelling for that is Annabel.

Princessjonsie · 28/08/2014 17:15

LOVE Matilda. My husband and I cant have children but we have our fantasy children. This isnt as creepy as it sounds I promise lol. Our little girl would be Martha,Esme,Matilda. Love it so much

crazylady321 · 26/08/2014 11:19

Meredith, just because its a bit different ive heard of a few Matildas and Annabelles been born lately

Gemerama82 · 26/08/2014 11:01

Annabelle. Meredith makes me think of the poor woman that was brutally murdered.

ralinax294 · 21/08/2014 21:40

Matilda or Annabelle - don't like Meredith.

Cherryblossom200 · 21/08/2014 16:17

Matlida is really cute, I like that name the best out of the three. However, I do wonder how it would suit a woman in her 40's/50's say? I really don't like Meredith at all, really old-fashioned and doesn't sound feminine at all! I have visions of a scary American girl in high school bossing everyone about ha x

Lweji · 21/08/2014 16:14

Not Meredith, sorry.

Matilda and Annabel are ok, but prefer Matilda I think.

Cherryblossom200 · 21/08/2014 16:13

I love Matilda, very cute name! Though I'm not sure about the name on a woman in say her 40's...might be a bit strange? I really don't like Meredith, very old fashioned and just doesn't sound that feminine IMO.

Marcipex · 21/08/2014 11:34

Love Meredith, not keen on Annabelle. Dated but not in a good way.

Matilda has a harsh sound to me, although it's so popular.

Castlemilk · 21/08/2014 11:34

Annabelle is spelled Annabel

Meredith is a male name to me

Matilda/Mathilda is the most popular, but by far the best of the three.
