Just that really , I'm 37 + 3 and we haven't decided on a name for ds! We had dd's name chosen by about 20 weeks but can't seem to
Agree on a boys name .

Dh loves Max
I love Ronan
We both like Rory

I like all of them.

YoHoHoandabottleofWine · 21/08/2014 22:39

I vote Rory. Love love love Rory

And to answer a previous poster, yes it fits a man as well as a boy, absolutely.

ralinax294 · 21/08/2014 21:44

Rory.

AnnOnymity · 21/08/2014 11:19

Rory

FoodieMum3 · 21/08/2014 10:36

Ronan

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 21/08/2014 09:45

I think Max suits any boy/man - whether he's a 6'3" rugby player , an accountant or (like my own DS ) a Sheldon Cooper lookie-likey.

And (very important for DS, and the reason it's popular for dogs too) you can shout Maaaaaxx across a rugby pitch and it'll carry.
Short and snappy , but with the potential to call him Maximillion

Reepits · 20/08/2014 22:46

Rory

Montsti · 20/08/2014 14:25

I like Max a lot. Really don't like the other 2 names at all.

Legionofboom · 20/08/2014 13:55

I love Max.
I can't get excited about Ronan but there's nothing wrong with it either.
I don't like Rory.

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 20/08/2014 13:44

I don't think of Max as a dogs' name (but I have a 14yo Max myself )
Rory is cute for a little boy but would it be as cute on an adult?

Ronan - nah.

birdofthenorth · 20/08/2014 11:57

Love Rory.

Ronan is my favourite boys name and if I ever have a ds, he will be called Ronan.

I also like Rory and Max though.

I'm not much help Grin

florascotia · 20/08/2014 08:59

I expect you know that Ronan means 'little seal' in Gaelic and so has magial/mythical connotations - lovely stories of selkies and suchlike.

As earlier poster says, would probably work best in Ireland or Scotland.

I love Rory. Max is Ok. Ronan not to my taste.

TheWhispersOfTheGods · 20/08/2014 08:20

Rory! Then Max. Don't like Ronan, but do like Rowan or Roman a fair bit.

LRDtheFeministDragon · 19/08/2014 23:47

I like Rory best.

Good luck!

justjodie92 · 19/08/2014 23:44

Rory.
But I like Max too.

Valsoldknickers · 19/08/2014 23:42

Rónán, but I am biased Wink

TheCraicDealer · 19/08/2014 22:43

Rory, definitely, you both like it. Max sounds a bit like a pet name, and Ronan makes me think of the opening bars of 'No Matter What' by Boyzone.

DramaAlpaca · 19/08/2014 22:39

I love Rory & Ronan.

Cheeky76890 · 19/08/2014 21:56

Dislike ronan
Like Rory/max
What about lex/Rex/roman

MoreBoober · 19/08/2014 21:49

Rory 100%
