After much deliberation me and dh have narrowed it down to 2.

Claudia Elizabeth
Eliza Rose

Which do you prefer?

Eliza, but I am not keen on Eliza Rose

cantpooinpeace · 05/09/2014 22:18

Claudia - my dd name - she is a Claudia May, still love it just as much now she is 7 - go for it Smile

Stars66 · 05/09/2014 22:08

Claudia RoseWink

CruCru · 05/09/2014 22:04

My DD (11 months) is called Claudia Elizabeth. I prefer that (obviously!).

TeenageMutantNinjaTurtle · 05/09/2014 20:21

I love Claudia. Dd2 was Claudia for about 15 minutes before DH decided he didn't like it. Eliza was also on my list but not as strong a contender.

BlackberryandNettle · 05/09/2014 20:18

Difficult! Love Claudia and Eliza, not keen on middle name Rose

I prefer Eliza.

Umbrellasandladders · 20/08/2014 19:57

Beautiful choices but Eliza is beat

birdofthenorth · 20/08/2014 11:25

Claudia. Claudie is a cute nn when wee. Claudie is a full-of-personality name when grown. Plus CJ from the West Wing was amazing.

What Whispers said re Rose as a middle name, sorry. Rose and James are really lovely names but very boring and default as middle names these days. If say half the kids I know are Something Rose or Something James. Unless it means something to you (eg honouring a relative) please deviate from the norm!

Merel · 20/08/2014 08:59

I like Eliza much more than Claudia

TheWhispersOfTheGods · 20/08/2014 08:30

I love Elizabeth, but Eliza I find oddly restrictive. I love all the range of NNs for Elizabeth. Rose as a MN I find very 'washy' - like 'oh, we need a middle name. Rose, that'll do.'

I'd go for Claudia Elizabeth. Beautiful name.

Claudia.

I just think of Dolittle and the Thornberries with Eliza.

Cheeky76890 · 19/08/2014 23:19

Eliza

Blueberrybaby · 19/08/2014 19:53

Claudia!

MagnificentMaleficent · 19/08/2014 19:45

We have a Claudia. Nn's Clauds, Claudi, Coco.

Eliza nice but less classic to me

HaroldLloyd · 19/08/2014 19:29

Claudia is lovely and I would give a rats arse about the meaning really.

StrawberryMojito · 19/08/2014 19:28

Claudia

Sugarplummy84 · 19/08/2014 19:28

Love both but prefer Claudia x

burgatroyd · 19/08/2014 18:45

Claudia but sorry, the meaning does put me off a little

Tauriel1 · 19/08/2014 18:09

Claudia is lovely.

RiaOverTheRainbow · 19/08/2014 18:06

Claudia's nice but Eliza/Elizabeth is lovely.

Lunastarfish · 19/08/2014 17:50

Claudia is one of my favourite names but a cousin has it Sad
