How would you pronounce this name ???

Hi
I know myself how I would be pronouncing it if I was to choose this name but was just wondering how others would pronounce it,
Ok so it would be used if I was to have a boy:
it is Ephan.

Thanks for the response,

i would pronounce it as E Phan (e fan), so basically Ethan, never realised it before thats how i actually say ethan, like e fan not that i have any trouble with speech just think it may be where iam from and the way we pronounce things.
my only worry was what 'waffly' said re: effin (blindin) thats what i think alot of people may think.

it did actually come up when i googled it spelt that way so please don't think I am just making it up haha, still thinking of names just trying to get ideas x

I'd pronounce it as Ethan with an f too. So ee-fan.

If I saw it on the register I would call them 'Ethan' which I would no doubt be corrected on for the rest of the time I teach them for! That said, EF- an does sound quite nice Smile

I would think someone had made up a 'new' spelling for Ethan
But obviously using f instead of th therefor also saying it wrong

Like Ethan but with an 'f' rather than a th'. Like is Sonia from Eastenders was saying Ethan.

I've never heard of it. If I saw it written down, I would assume it was eh-fan.

I wouldn't know whether to pronounce it Eff-ann or Eef-ann. I guess actually Eff-ann?
