The majority of Welsh people in the South say it the "wrong way".

The correct pronounciation is Dull-an.

Mr Thomas himself helped popularise the Dill-un pronunciation.

Love it and considering it for (as yet hypothetical) DC2.

However all the adult Dylans I know are charming alcoholics, may be coincidence.

Also people mispronouncing it the English way would be annoying.

I did do an implied face palm when I read Katona had called her daughter that. It is such a boys name.

Saying that, Americans call their daughters Bryn which is even worse in my opinion!

Although I think Kerry Katona has recently called her daughter Dylan too. Really not so keen on it for a girl. Not so keen on the Katona konnection either.

I love Dylan. Always have. It's such a lovely name.

It's definitely not popular where I am.

When I was 11 my best friend and I swore we'd each have a son called Dylan.

I still like it a lot despite its popularity.

3 people I was at school with have named their sons Dylan so it is a bit too common for my liking but it is a lovely name.
