My choice, DH's choice and the kids' choice for Dd2 due any day now, in no particular order -

Nancy
Kitty
Marnie

I love all 3 but have slight reservations about them all individually.

Other considered and discarded choices include:

Bea/Beatrice
Leonie/Leonora/Leni
Agatha/Aggie
Sylvie
Cecilly/Cece
Violet
Eleanor/Nell
Maude
Adeline/Addie
Ramona
Willa
Dorothy/Dot/Dotty/Dory/Dorrie
Joni
Elsa
Frances/Francesca/Franny/Frankie
Harriet/Hester/Hattie/Hettie
Jeannie

Please help us decide, I'm worried she won't want to come out unless she has a name Wink

Marnie!

Love Kitty, then Nancy, but Beatrice is also lovely

Mumof3xox · 01/08/2014 14:48

Marnie

Sophronia · 01/08/2014 14:46

Kitty or Marnie. Not keen on Nancy.

OutragedFromLeeds · 01/08/2014 14:40

Would she consider donating it to the baby? If she has another middle name she might not mind. Sharing a name could be a nice bonding thing?

Iph · 01/08/2014 14:36

Thanks for the replies. Would normally go for the full name on BC and Kitty as nickname but one of DD1's middle names is Catherine (after MIL), so would feel a bit odd.

I love Marnie, it's so cute. I wouldn't choose Kitty as I think it's cute on a child, but not on an adult which eventually dd will be.

ShanghaiDiva · 01/08/2014 14:24

Marnie.'
Agree with outraged that kitty is too girly.

OutragedFromLeeds · 01/08/2014 14:22

I like them all. My favourite is Marnie, lovely and really under used.

Kitty is nice, but I would go for Katherine and then Kitty as a nn because it's a bit little girly imo.

Nancy is nice as well.
