I have an irrational dislike of the names Thea and Theo. Remind me of a stuffy librarian or a boring history or scripture class.

But actually I'd use the nickname Jem.

Thanks so much for your comments...looks like Thea is winning! I do love Jemima (more so the nn Mimi), and I have heard the vagina connection...which worries me slightly! Please keep comments coming. This is really helpful.

Thea, it's beautiful and on my list for future dd.

Jemima is dp/dss word for vagina. Not used often but enough to put me off!
Even without that id pick thea in a heartbeat
