Ginny?

So weird that all the names I seem to like a short/nick name types! I posted Elvie a couple of days back! I did post Alba a while ago but hubby has gone off it :(

So, opinions on Ginny.....the Harry Potter link doesn't put me off at all.

I like the character in the books, but never liked the name.

I know a dog called Ginny.

Don't like the name at all - for people or pets, sorry.

Imogen can be shortened to Ginny too. I like Ginny. It's more Antonia Forester than Enid Blyton, imo.

Got you Squoosh :) It has been an absolute age since I read Enid Blyton books! Gosh I feel old now!

I just like Ginny, no longer versions of names. I don't think sounds as cutesy as other shortened names. I really love Ginny and Edie. Elvie is lovely but I don't love it but the husband does. Hmmmm.

Virginia, with Gini for short is nice imo. Or the French Virginie is lovely too.
