DC3 is due in 4 weeks. Lucy or Rosa? Middle name will probably be Jean.

I know it's a bit popular, but I adore Lucy! It may depend a bit for me on your surname though, how the names flow together.

MsFanackerPants · 01/08/2014 23:31

I have a Rosa, I've always loved it. However people regularly think she is called Rosie, it's the local accent and it doesn't bother me especially

MummyAngharad · 31/07/2014 19:21

I love Lucy but I think that Rosa is lovely because it is underused as a first name. Seeing a little Rosa could be very refreshing to all these Lily-Rose, Ava-Rose etc etc Rose variations. Rosa also seems elegant but can have sweet nicknames like Rose/Rosie when little, whereas Lucy I see as girly and cute and somewhat twee on a grown up in my opinion.

HelpMeGetOutOfHere · 31/07/2014 18:55

Lucy is far from dull and plain!
Lucy is a lovely name. I have a Lucy and a relative called Lucia (loo chee ya) both nice names.

Rosa is ok but think lots would assume rose.

Sundaedelight · 31/07/2014 18:53

Rosa.Pretty to say and read. Find Lucy rather dull.

WiggleGinger · 31/07/2014 17:50

I know both and in various age group!

I would go for Lucy as often Rosa gets misunderstood & is called Rose / Rosie & has to correct people!

Gingerjv · 28/07/2014 17:45

Rosa for sure!!

Khibs29 · 28/07/2014 16:17

We're having the exact same debate at the moment! Love them both! I'm now overdue and think we've decided to choose when she arrives, as we just can't choose!

KoalaDownUnder · 28/07/2014 03:16

Rosa.

Lucy is overused and has become a bit 'plain' for me.

Coughle · 28/07/2014 03:07

I slightly prefer Rosa only because Lucy is a bit more popular. But both are lovely choices.

Sophronia · 28/07/2014 02:15

Lucy has the edge for me. It's timeless.

laurennnnxoxo1019 · 25/07/2014 19:59

Lucy!Smile

WhispersOfWickedness · 25/07/2014 19:54

I have a Rosa Grin It's a lovely name, we've had nothing but positive comments about it Smile We did have Lucy at the top of our list too, but it just didn't feel right once she was here Smile

jasmine31 · 25/07/2014 19:52

Love them both. My dd has one of them and the other would be on my list for a subsequent dd.

sandberry · 25/07/2014 19:50

Love both, but with Jean I'd go for Lucy. Rosa Jean sounds a bit like a song

MsVenus · 25/07/2014 19:26

I like both names but prefer Rosa as I know five Lucys but only one Rosa.

hefner · 25/07/2014 15:51

Definitely Rosa. I love that name, although Lucy is nice too.

ArsenicFaceCream · 25/07/2014 15:27
