Thanks everyone for your comments, my first choice of name was Princess, but that is so popular around here, I thought I would have to go one better :)

It's not really a name. It's like princess or dutchesse etc.

Wasn't it originally a nickname for Victoria (who was queen at the time)? If so it could be a nickname for Elizabeth, that way she has other options if she doesn't like it when she grows up.
