Hello :)

We have about a month to go until dc2..
Our first is Ivy Beth... I love the name Rowan for a girl but wasn't sure if 2 similar names was a bit naff?? No idea for a boy, ideas welcome! Or girl ideas too if you think Rowan is horrific
Many thanks. X x x

Rowan is really lovely for either a boy or girl I think (the only one I know is a boy too).

Not at all, op! I had the same conflict. First dd has nature name and had to rule out Clover as would have been very smelly hippy!

Bughunt, first dd isn't dandelliin though!

Lovely names, Op!

I love Ivy and I like Rowan. Not sure about Beth.

Love Rowan.

Go for it, they're great names. Only ever heard Rowan as a guy's name though, so could be used for either!

sleepdodger · 19/07/2014 00:50

Rowan is lovely

Only1scoop · 19/07/2014 00:48

Nice

lettertoherms · 19/07/2014 00:41

Nah, those are both standard names. It's not like Pumpernickel and Rainbow. I love Rowan.

bughunt · 19/07/2014 00:38

I like those names.

Thought you were going to suggest something like clover and dandelion. Grin

HaroldLloyd · 19/07/2014 00:37

I don't think Rowan and Ivy sounds strange in the slightest, totally fine.
