Names that go well with the surname Fletcher (boys and girls)

Just that really
Most names I can think of don't seem to really fit with the surname Fletcher so I thought I'd ask mumsnet! Boys and girls names please

Yes mscoconut, thanks for your help!! Also I think I am ok for boys names it's just a matter of dh and I choosing which one!! Oliver Fletcher is also on our list too!! I mean, I don't rly like Matilda but I just think Tilly fletcher is a pretty name!! Thanks so much everyone and for taking the time to reply to me it has rly helped DH and I! Xxx

I like Lucy, Olivia and Amelia best from your list, but don't think any of them sound wrong with Fletcher (admittedly my accent I pronounce the 'r' in Fletcher so the similarity between 'er' and 'a' is less than with other people). Matilda might be the hardest to wrap one's tongue around as there are lots of consonants in both Matilda and Fletcher. However, if you really liked the name, I wouldn't let that stop you.

Are you still looking for boys names? Oliver Fletcher is again a bit more of a mouthful than some but still usable. Olly Fletcher is quite nice. IMHO I think short names like Luke or Nick (Nicholas) go quite well with Fletcher.

My last name is quite similar to Fletcher, but not. Both my sister and I have names that end with an A, and I think it sounds fine. But I don't have an accent that leaves the R off the ends of words, or adds them, so that could make a difference. We have a lot of an/on/en name endings (for instance, Nathan as listed above.) But the family has names ranging from Rachel to Jose and I think they all work.

I'd say anything that doesn't start with the same letter or sound I did have an aunt named Freda, she married into the family, unfortunate or rhymes. But the same could be said of any name, I think.

Thanks guys for all your help!!! I do think that Amelia Fletcher could be possible but it is not ideal with the 'a' and 'er'
I think there are enough boys that go well but not so many girls!
Here is a list of some girls names that might go well - please let me what u think!!
For the names with abbreviations next to them most people would use the nickname

I would think it would be easier to think of names that don't go with Fletcher.

I'm not a fan of alliteration (eg Finley Fletcher, Florence Fletcher) or too much assonance (eg Sorcha Fletcher) or things that almost rhyme (eg Etta or Greta Fletcher) but you might like all of those things.

I know an Amy Fletcher. Goes quite well I think, but surely most names go with that surname? I'd just stay away from names starting with an F sound.

Most names I think. I think 3 syllables goes quite well but nothing wrong with 2 or 4 either. I would avoid F or Ph names. If you like 'a' endings how about:
