I love this name, but can it ACTUALLY be used? I like unusual names but not ridiculous ones. Do you know any? Do you like it?

I only know that SeraphiMa is very popular jewish name (russian jewish). I have never met SeraphiNa in my life, but it sounds nice.

I know one who is approximately 5. I think the actual word is Seraphim and it is the plural of Seraph. So Seraphin sounds not quite right to me?

I know a little girl called Seraphin, nn. Phin.

It suits her - although it's apparently supposed to be the male version of the name. Seraphina's a tad...frilly for my tastes!

I know a four year old Seraphina. I must say, it doesn't suit her at all and always sounds faintly ridiculous. Too long and Disney-esque for me.

I really like it, I'm like Oriunda though, it fits with other names I like.

My dp does not like any of the names I like. Not one. From Antigone to Clara and all that falls in between, he doesn't like them.

I like it a lot. Prefer spelling Seraphina but both ways fine. I love names like Persephone and Ophelia so it fits that style of name.

There is a Serafina in the reception class in DD's school this year. I was a bit unsure about it at first, but it's just another name now. And does suit the child :-)

It's one of the few dh and I agree on. Girls names are tricky because there are so many lovely ones to choose from and we want to make sure it's exactly right. Boys names even harder because there are very few that we like! Both Seraphina and Josephine are going on the list.

I love Josephine, Josie or Sephie for short. Works on all ages I think!

It's way too saccharine for my taste, I know someone who uses Serephine Musica as a stage name although it suits my friends musical style.

I like it. Would def spell Seraphina though. The only one I know is 8 years old and called Seraphina all the time, doesn't have a nickname
