A middle name for Grace? Help and opinions needed

We have agreed on Grace for a first name but cannot agree on a middle name.

Names DH has vetoed that I like

Madeline
Elizabeth/Eliza
Eleanor
Juliet

Names we both think are ok, none of them seem right

Francesca - A family name, DH not keen

Hazel - DH likes, I am not too keen

Sophia - we both like, but DH thinks it would be misspelt. I do not see this as a problem for a middle name

Evelyn - we both like, but would strongly consider using as a first name if we have another girl.

Anyone have any other ideas?
I think it would be nice for the middle name to be long, as our surname is short and Grace is a one syllable name.

I think 3 syllable names work best.
Hence Grace Evelyn is good

Grace Evelyn
Grace Leonora
Grace Eliana
Grace Ariana
Grace Evalina
Grace Lilian
Grace Indiana
Grace Theodora
Grace Sapphire ( similar to Sophia)

Sorry for late reply November...I think you can pronounce it 2 ways. My mum says its Eve Lyn but Ive also heard her be called Ev-i-lyn which I think sounds prettier.

My boys have got names which can be shortened (one is William George and the other is Joseph Thomas) so they are Will and Joe so I wanted a girls name that I could shorten as well so was going to Evelyn Grace shortened to Evie :-)

ThinkIveBeenHacked · 05/07/2014 00:37

Oh haha ive just gone back and read the thread and seen its been mentioned!

ThinkIveBeenHacked · 05/07/2014 00:36

The name that came to.mind alongside Grace was Grace Evangeline. I love it.

WhiteHairReally · 05/07/2014 00:32

My Grace is Grace Elizabeth - we've found a goodly number of Graces are, but that's off your list. I offer Grace Christabel, which is what I originally wanted.

Aaaabbbbcccc · 04/07/2014 22:43

My 4th DD is Martha Cordelia Grace - the occasions you actually need/use a second or third name are minimal as she has discovered in her 24 years!

danixx · 04/07/2014 22:35

I'm thinking middle name should start with a E or an A..
maybe..
Grace Anne
Grace Ashal
Grace Alexis / Alexa
Grace annobel
Grace Amelia
Grace Alice

Grace Elleanor
Grace Ellie
Grace Emelie
Grace Elizabeth

or some others..
Grace Georgia
Grace Georgina
Grace Lilly / Lillia or put an A on the front for Grace Alillia
Grace Isla

Good luck!!! :) xxxxxx

Love Grace Olivia or Grace Evelyn. I have a Grace too. Beautiful name! Mine is 12 and its still definitely my favourite girls name. Olivia a close second.

Iheart and Bold, how would you pronounce Evelyn? Opinions seem to vary so much.

Grace will be definite first name, sadly DH doesn't like Felicity. Our many other names I am putting to him.

DH likes, Olivia, Evelyn and Elena atm.

I really like Eliza, Natalia.

Hmm, feels like a very big decision. Really do not want to get it wrong.

What do you all think of Amelia? Would it be weird as a middle name when my niece is a Millie (just Millie)

SanityClause · 04/07/2014 21:51

What about Grace Felicity?

SanityClause · 04/07/2014 21:50

Grace is wasted by using it as a middle name. It's lovely.

I prefer Evelyn pronounced Eve-lyn, though.

clareth · 04/07/2014 21:44

Grace Olivia :) although I may be slightly biased!

idontlikealdi · 04/07/2014 19:42

Evelyn Grace is beautiful.

I also see Grace as more of a middle name.

dementedma · 04/07/2014 19:35

What initial does surname start with?
Grace Ivy Turner not good.

TheWordFactory · 04/07/2014 19:34

I like an -ine- name after Grace.

Grace Celestine.
Grace Evangeline.
Grace Claudine.
Grace Francine.

monkeyfacegrace · 04/07/2014 19:32

I have a Grace Olivia and next dd will be Evelyn Grin

baldisbeautiful · 04/07/2014 19:29

Both my grannies were Evelyn, goes lovely with grace too!

ihearttc · 04/07/2014 19:27

Evelyn is my mums name and I think its absolutely beautiful! Ive got 2 boys but if Id have had a girl she would have been Evelyn Grave (nn Evie).

Icedfinger · 04/07/2014 19:25

Love Evelyn. I know a Grace Alice which is pretty.

CharlesRyder · 04/07/2014 18:17

Love Evelyn

NovemberRainbow · 04/07/2014 18:08

Thanks everyone, really liking some of these.

Love Natalia
Olivia
Marion
Elena

What does everyone think about Evelyn?
Think it's our main contender atm, Grace Evelyn +Surname seems to flow nicely. Pronounced Ev-er-lyn.

CharlesRyder · 04/07/2014 16:43

Or actually, maybe it just needs to start with a vowel.

Grace Anna
Grace Eva
Grace Innes
Grace Octavia
Grace Una
