Expecting first baby in October and haven't found out the sex!

Girls short list is:

Harriet
Hannah
Anna
Flora

Boys:

Sebastian
Rory
William
Edward

I'm really pleased so many of you like Rory! I was worried it was a bit 'old'. I think I'll go for that; I do like Sebastian though.

I'm still undecided on a girl!

Rose is the middle name for a girl, as my parents had a rose garden they loved.

If this baby is a boy his middle name will be Martin, after my late dad.

No, don't worry, I was just hoping to avoid "I hate them all. Why not call your child Tamzinpoopdiane?" Grin

Anna, or even hannah, would be named in a way after my mother, who was Anita. Her mother was anne. I've loved Harriet and flora since I was little, though. I love flowers so flora nods to that :) I don't think of margarine!

Ooh that's tough, I love all your girls names except Anna, and all your boys names! At a push I think I'd pick Harriet and Sebastian. If I can pick middle names too I'd have Harriet Flora and Sebastian Edward.

What's your surname like? The flow of a name is very important to me.

For girls, Hannah or Anna are both lovely - slightly prefer Hannah.
Flora is quite nice but I'm not sure I can get past the margarine reference, also had a pet called Flora so that is probably a personal thing.
Really don't like Harriet, just don't find it a pretty name.

Boys are all ok, William and Edward are done to death around here, so a bit meh. Sebastian I don't actively dislike, but don't like Seb nickname much, so I would probably go for Rory.

In summary Hannah and Rory! But don't think you can go wrong with any of them really.
