Timeless or 70s?

We're thinking of going with Zoe Christina for DD2. I like the historical significance of both names - Byzantine empress and the truly epic Christina of Sweden - and 'Christina' was the name of my GGM. It also 'goes' nicely with DD1's name.

I'm just worried that the two names together sound a little late 70s/early 80s rather than timeless and pretty. Am I over thinking this?

I work in a university and we have lots of 18-22yos called Zoe, who were obviously born after the 70s/80s.

I know someone born in 1975 called Zoe and a girl in my 7-year-old DS's class named Zoe. Totally timeless.

Lovely names. Yes Zoe was popular in the late 70's & early 80's but I really don't think it sounds at all dated now ??.

Christina is great too, not so 70's/80's though as there have been Christina's about much longer than that.

I LOVE the name Christina. Definitely timeless.

Zoe was undoubtedly popular in the 80s, but its a good name and doesnt sound dated/tired.

To me 70s/80s names not timeless however they are pretty and if you love them go for it.

Zoe Christina is beautiful - although as a Zoe myself I'm slightly biased!

I was born in the early '80s (I think it peaked in popularity around then) but now I'm a teacher I've come across Zoes of all ages, and I think the name is still used fairly regularly, though 'quietly'.

I love my name; it seems to have dated much better than most of my friends' names, and somehow manages to feel both classic and a little quirky. Flows really well with Christina too. I say go for it!

My 8 yo ds has a friend called Zoe, I think it's timeless and is great with Christina.
