I have an Oscar and a James - I think they are the two best boys names EVER Grin

SanityClause · 10/07/2014 20:03

If you call him Freddie or Oscar, he is likely to be Freddie J or Oscar J in his class.

Gingerjv · 10/07/2014 19:58

Definitaly Oscar! love this name!

BikeRunSki · 10/07/2014 06:25

Adam

barefootcook · 10/07/2014 06:22

Freddie as a nn for Frederick. Quite like Adam too.

KoalaDownUnder · 10/07/2014 04:23

Anything but Freddie. I know a grown man who goes by Freddie, and I hate it.

Adam is definitely the better pick.

newyearnewshoes · 09/07/2014 22:49

Freddie

Alita7 · 24/06/2014 15:50

100% Oscar!

Umbrellasandladders · 24/06/2014 07:25

Adam James is lovely

strawberryjam · 23/06/2014 17:20

Thank you for all your input we have 99% decided on Adam and going to let the 3.5 yr old choose his middle name.

I like them all but only really like Freddie as a nn. It would be weird to meet a grown man at work or something who introduced himself as Freddie.

CarriMarie · 22/06/2014 20:53

Adam James.

Theonlyoneiknow · 22/06/2014 09:12

Definitely Adam

PastaandCheese · 22/06/2014 08:42

I like Adam.

Freddie is nice.

Not keen on Oscar at all.

Bellyrub1980 · 22/06/2014 08:41

Oscar

DogCalledRudis · 22/06/2014 08:37

Adam

Mumof3xox · 22/06/2014 07:57

I know an Oscar James so I would say they would go together!

Oscar and James - lovely

strawberryjam · 22/06/2014 07:50

My H thinks Adam is more timeless, bit like James where Freddie to too 'now' and he is not sure Oscar goes with James, apparently they have too different shapes?!

I don't think Oscar "goes" with James. I like Adam and Freddie.

I think Adam is a more neutral name in terms of class and culture, though, and less "of its time" than Freddie. That doesn't matter to most people everybody, though!

strawberryjam · 21/06/2014 21:50

I like all 3 and can't choose!

Adam - great name and not too popular,

Oscar is nice but quite trendy,

Not so keen on Freddie, unless a nickname for Frederick.

Bowlersarm · 21/06/2014 20:46

Which one do you like best OP?

Nereida · 21/06/2014 19:38

I like Freddie best but prefer it as a nickname for Frederick, Wilfred or Alfred.

strawberryjam · 21/06/2014 19:25

Thank you!
