I need 2 girls names...

DS is Isaac and we've just found out our twins are pink Smile

DH and I cannot agree on any girls names and tbh I don't feel I love any girls names.

I like names ending in 'a':
Olivia - too common?
Ava - ditto

DH is set on Nuala but I've gone off this name.

Lucy is a possible which obv breaks my 'a' rule, again I'm worried she would be one of many.

Any suggestions??

If I had twin girls (I have thought about this far too much given the very remote chance of it happening!!) I'd call them Clara and Alice. I think they go nicely with Isaac too, which is one of my favourite boys' names!
Or if you wanted both 'a' endings, Clara and Lydia.

I did say when it is written I know it doesn't sound like Nutella, I'm not thick! An extra L just snuck in when I wasn't looking....

You can't have nova and nola that would be confusing

It may not matter, but Olivia is very popular - no 2 in England and Wales in 2012. Lucy less popular at no 27.

I haven't known many girl-girl twins but the ones I have met are:

Anna and Amy
Hester and Beatrice
Harriet and Emily
Jacqueline and Evelyn
Kerry and Donna
Annabelle and Charlotte

Of those, all but Harriet/Emily and Annabelle/Charlotte are now at least 16

If you like nuala what about fionula with Nula for short, or fiona or finola which I think are just different versions of the same name.

If not how about just livia or olive.

If I had twin girls they would be Liliana and Beatrice.

I also like Fae and Rose/a, Alicia and Emma, Delilah and Katrina, Clara and Eliza, Athena and Hera, Kaiya and Esme, Erica and Anita, Freya and Kiera and Alexandra and Catherine.

I don't think Lucy is that common (as in lots of them) - I don't know any Lucys. One Lucinda aged 6.

I also like Harriet. Other ideas: Lydia, Luisa, Leila.
