I know a Cally short for Caroline. I like it, prefer your -ie spelling as well.

I have a callie she is lovely it's very pretty. A lot of people ex in laws call her Kelly though

Reminds me of Grange Hill, can't remember what the character was like though so not sure if that's good or bad
