I'm really sorry to hear your boy has had trouble because of his name - that really isn't fair on him, and I wish people knew better than to do that.

Of the ones you listed, I like "Zain" as a spelling.

Mmm all the names you guys mentioned are pretty good but i'm still confused ..

@Mmmango Hey! No sameer its pretty similiar..

Rehan and Rayan its the same ?

What do you think of the three names i wrote, which is the best in your personal opinion?

Zayn can be writter either "Zain" or "Zayn" ? which is better?

Perhaps your son would like to have a Muslim (Arabic) name that translates easily into English? That way, he could have both Arabic and English versions to use according to context, as he chooses?

For example, Adam, Abraham, Moses, Joseph, Jacob, Noah, David, Solomon, Isaac, Jonah are all English versions of names mentioned in the Qur'an, and they are all very well-known names in the UK.

This list gives some Arabic and English equivalents:

There will be many others, I am sure.

Ayman? Sami? Yusuf is very easy to say for English people. Raieef - might have trouble at first but it's quite like Rafe really.
