Hi all,

I've already asked opinions on Primrose and most were positive but I'm still not 100% sure so thought I'd see what you all prefer out of my top 3 names.
So which is your fave and why out of Primrose Daisy or Alexandra??

Please also add a middle name if you like. Options for middle names (all family names) are:
Lily
Anne
Anna
Mary
Sylvia

Thanks Smile

I adore the name Primrose. I actually really like Lily Primrose as a name.

Primrose is a great name maybe better as a middle name though. Daisy seems like too much of a child's name to me.
Think Alexandra Primrose world be gorgeous :)

haha brilliant donkeys!!

To be honest deep down I know Alexandra is the most sensible choice. I've always liked it, so I know I'll never go off it. I do love flower names though. I love flowers and nature and would have loved a flower name myself so I think I'm naturally drawn towards them.
I'm concerned with Primrose that she would get picked on for being 'prim' and my main concern with Daisy is it rhymes with crazy and lazy and sounds like Dozy, I do think it's beautiful though.

Anyone with children with these names that like or loathe their names?!

out of those three I would choose Alexandra

Timeless, classic, Alexandra.

I love Daisy but it has been popular, if you like flower names then Primrose is that bit more unusual.

I was discussing names with someone weeks' ago, she mentioned her cousin or some relative was considering Lotus for her as yet unborn DD.
"Oh" I said, "Very spiritual, is she a Buddhist?"
Blank look, "No her boyfriend's into cars, he wants her called that or Elise".

I love Alexandra. Elegant and classic.

I like Sylvia best.

Alexandra is my absolute favourite! Elegant, classic, just beautiful! Lots of nicknames for a baby/little girl, and a "serious" grown-up name. Also recognizable in most countries.

I wouldn't choose Primrose because of the "prim" bit, and because it makes me think of Hyacinth Bucket (sorry, but you've asked!). I like Rose very much though.

I wouldn't choose Daisy either - cute for a baby/little girl, but not great for a grown woman IMHO.
