I'm most of uses MN worse nightmares when it comes to baby names. I understand almost 100% won't like my childrens names and I really don't mind I quite like it in fact that way I know they won't become popular.

Lanny I didn't mean your children will be bullied ny their names (I don't think any but boo are 'out there') but that it was unfair for nononon to imply it doesn't happen because it does and it happened to me.

Fwiw I genuinely love Dolly though not brave enough to use it lol.

Awomb Biba (the fashion label) was started by Barbara Hulanicki. Biba was her nickname.

Are my daughter choices she's crazier then her mother her teacher said I hear if its a girls your calling her Rapunzel haha she watches too much tv

My oldest boy just wants every football players surname he sits shouting them at me as he plays FIFA lol

So I guess they can mind different names

I hyphonated Buster-Boo because I intended for him to be known as Boo but he has the choice of Buster if he likes, I myself only call him Boo my nan only calls him Buster he dosnt bat an eyelid just answers to both single or together,

Never once has any of them ever told me they have been bullied because of there names one of my boys as long hair (his choice) and that's the very first thing that gets said not his name because I don't even think the other kids realise its different,

I'm loving posy too

Nononon, I'm sorry but children do get picked on because of their names. I was teased relentlessly because my name was different to all the others (amd its not even totally out there).

Saying that I dont find Dolly, Monty, Herbie or Buster too unusual. Not to my taste but certainly not silly. The hyphonated boo is the only thing that would raise my eyebrow (probably because I'd expect to find boo on a girl) but i think the OPs children will be just fine :)

I like it when kids have unusual names, don't think ang of OP names are "too out there"

I haven't read the whole thread but I'd just like to say to the OP - great names!

And to those that say that children get bullied for their names - I am teacher and have never once seen a child being bullied for their name. Not once. I teach secondary too. Names become 'normal' to other children. Names also don't hold children back.

It's just narrow minded adults that have the issue. A few of which are on this thread. These aren't exactly crazy, made up, "out there" names! They're just not top 100 at the moment. Get over it!

OP, can I be nosey ask why Buster-Boo is hyphenated and your other children aren't?

I love Biba, does it have a source beyond the fashion label? I'd put Greer as the middle name.
