A 'Rip' in front and a 'Winkle' after and you're on to a winner.

newtothenet · 28/04/2014 21:37

I know a Vanden, if that helps!

SomethingOnce · 28/04/2014 00:25

I know a Vander (not short for anything, AFAIK).

CoteDAzur · 27/04/2014 11:53

I like Van a lot. It has a rock n roll vibe.

MrsRuffdiamond · 26/04/2014 21:08

How about Evander or Sullivan?

Alisvolatpropiis · 26/04/2014 21:01

Yes it is.

parques · 26/04/2014 20:21

As said previously, Donovan is cool!

nyldn · 26/04/2014 20:08

I love Van... we were considering it as well, but dh doesn't want to use it as a full name, just a nn, and i don't care for any of the full names. came closest w donovan, but have moved on since...

Was going to suggest Vin/Vincent too. I campaigned hard for it for DC3 (who is a DD, so made my boy name angst somewhat pointless).

Nice trainers. And MN abbreviation is DC. Also nice trainers. So, with that in mind, crack on Smile

MrsBungle · 26/04/2014 14:28

Van is a silly name.

SavoyCabbage · 26/04/2014 14:27

Laurie is much more sensible.

TinklyLittleLaugh · 26/04/2014 14:24

Van Morrison is Ivan isn't he? I'd go for a name like that and shorten it.

ohdearitshappeningtome · 26/04/2014 14:22

MsBumble · 26/04/2014 14:19

It's a bit different on it's own, but the reality is like any name you and those around you will get used to it.

noblegiraffe · 26/04/2014 14:17

Car, bus and taxi are also nice.

Sarahplane · 26/04/2014 14:16

Sorry but it's silly
