Which name do you prefer - Duncan or Alasdair?

My vote for Alasdair (that spelling - Scots Gaelic equivalent of Alexander) as it's the name of someone near and dear to me.

Love both. However I'm not keen on the NN Ali which is inevitable with Alisdair so Duncan for me.

If you are in England you may get people spelling Alasdair with a t.

I like both names though.

Definitely Alasdair, Duncan feels quite "old" imo.

ThingsThatShine · 22/04/2014 22:51

Alasdair

YoHoHoandabottleofWine · 22/04/2014 22:48

I love both

PS don't let anyone tell you that spelling of Alasdair is wrong, it is correct and turns if from a boring Alistair to a gorgeous Alas-dair
