Definitely Freddie. I'm that you get to name your boy Freddie, it's my favourite name but DP hates it!

bunbaker thankyou, that's exactly why I wanted to check! My name has a tricky ei in the middle that trips everyone up, so wanted to make sure we were choosing the most 'obvious' spelling. Freddie it is!

Freddie. If you use Freddy people - teachers/other parents/friends will think you can't spell.
