DP loves it, I like it but not sure I can get past the bear association.
What nickname would he have? Also what middle name would work with it?

Rupert is awful. Bland and insipid and posh to a comedy degree.

The Rupert I know went by Ru, but I think Rupert is better
(He was actually a Jonathan but went by his middle name!)

I'm not a fan. To me it's a comedy posh name. And it's a bit wet.
