We're really struggling to name DD3. She's 15 days old today and still has no name as nothing really fits the bill. Sisters' names are Leah and Orla. Any suggestions?

That's a good choice, OP

That's beautiful! Not heard Nura before, and it goes wonderfully with Skye. What a lovely meaning as well! Congratulations on name choosing and best wishes to you and dp.

AngelaDaviesHair · 07/04/2014 14:07

That's very nice, OP- and thanks for coming back to tell us.

Cornishfaery · 07/04/2014 11:06

Thank you for all the lovely name suggestions. Some really beautiful ones. We've decided to call her Nura Skye, so all girls have the 'uh' sound at the end on their name, but different beginning sounds :)

My Lois is the only little one I know (and I've only taught one in ten years as a teacher) but don't kid yourself about nicknames; her brother nicknamed her Lois Lollipop as a newborn and now she's known as Lolly/Loll half the time!

Ruprekt · 05/04/2014 23:49

Have you chosen yet?

I like Bea. Grin

BikeRunSki · 05/04/2014 23:47

Maya, Eve and Ruby are very common, and I have met 2 preschool age Lois recently.

Uncommon names for baby girls now are surely Sarah, Lisa and Karen?
