My nearly Alexandra is so not serene... She's definitely more of an Alex than an Alexandr(i)a 
It's a good name though (obviously, as we chose it). Classic, everyone knows it, loads of flexibility on shortenings and nicknames but always with the option for a more 'formal' name when they grow up.
