Unique but not unknown boys names..

We are after a boys name, which isn't made up/ sounding like we have made it up/ common enough people don't ask for a spelling/ uncommon enough there won't be 4 of them at preschool!

We have a dd Jessica, which is surprisingly uncommon but obviously well known in our area..

It's always frustrating when accents get in the way OP. We had a few names like that (essentially anything with a 'th' was out for us among others).

My unique but not unheard of names; Adwin, Akin, Alcaus, Ardor, Avi, Brennus, Constantine, Cyrus, Dante, Desta, Dietfried, Evander, Evren, Franklin, Gratian, Honour, Iestyn, Innes , Justice, Kito, Lovel, Loyal, Merit, Nelson, Noble, Pax, Sage, Solace, Sonder, Stellan, Valor, Wilfred, Zeal, Zurien.

simplysara both my boys' names are on your first list. Feeling less odd now.

Oh some good ones here! Thank you! We liked one that's been mentioned here (don't want to out myself!) but me and my dp pronounce it weirdly and everyone thought we we're saying a different name :(

Problem is, a name which is "unique" in done parts are hugely popular in others so only you can make that call.

I know atleast 10 Aiden/Aidan's under 8 and several Hayden/Haidan's too.

Our boy name was Ruairaidh/Ruairi.
