Jayden Lee or Mason ??

Hi this is my first baby and I've been unsure on names since day 1!!

These two have stuck with me for a while all though I do keep going on and off both! I don't have a middle name for Mason yet, as I can't think of any, so ideas are welcome!

But I do like it and Jayden Lee isn't a double barrelled name or anything he'll just be called Jayden, but I just like the sound of lee with it :)

What do you think, I wasn't too sure if these were 'chavvy' or 'common' names !

Weile: I've just tried that with one of my DC's names (which I've seen getting sneery comments of late). In the year before the birth, barely a mention and those that there are, are thoroughly positive.

Thing is...as long as you like it why does it matter what others think?
I dont get the angst tbh.
There is only one correct response when someone tells you their babies name...smile and say "how lovely"

For a laugh one day I decided to advance search my children's names in the baby names topic to see what the MN opinion was - DD's name had a battering including an 8 page thread full of angry, angry women talking about how ghastly & common it was. Honestly, 8 pages! (You can probably guess what her name is if you hang around here often enough Grin )

But....if I search it for just the year she was born, it's not mentioned even once and the year after it's in about 6 threads & all of them recommending it.

It's all fashion innit - they come and go. If you like the names, go for it - don't worry about other people's opinion. Children tend to fit their name anyway.

The snobbery on baby names really is terrible. People should get over themselves. My DS has a name also frowned upon on MN. I actually dared give him a name I like rather than an approved name on here. !

Sorry but they are both as dire as each other. Try and think of some other names you like before deciding on one of those two.

Sorry, but they are both chavvy and will be considered really dated in 15/20 years or so - the next Wayne and Kevin! I don't care if some of the super politically correct people on here think that makes me a 'snob', I'm just being honest.
