In hospital, can't sleep!

I've been admitted for pre-term labour at 35+2 so just had my second steroid injection. Dp and i can't sleep the ward is so noisy - so lucky he's been able to stay with me =)

Anyway the boredom has brought us to our final name choices and as it seems more likely than not she will join us early what are your thoughts on:

Emilia Martha
Emilia Ruby

So sorry you can't sleep, but exciting times!

Emilia is a lovely name, I don't care if it's popular. Both Martha and Ruby go well but I think Martha has the edge.

If you're bored, how about some other options to think about:

Both DDs were so very nearly Emilia. It's a beautiful name. Just beware that they may have a lifetime of 'no it's Emilia with an E'!

Tbh, middle names are so rarely used that you should just go with the one you and your husband prefer. Fwiw, Emilia is a lovely name! Good luck. Hope all goes well.

Thank you! Still here, still pregnant! I really love both, dp prefers Emilia Ruby so I think that's where we're heading!

Another vote for Amelia Martha. Although I prefer it the other way around: Martha Amelia.

Contractions have all but stopped now after having the drip. Also had steroids for her lungs. At 35+2 doctors are insistent my section shouldn't be performed before 37 weeks (currently booked for 39+1) so got to see consultant next week to discuss early section.

I think both go with Emilia (which is a lovely name) but I prefer Ruby as a name so I would go with Emilia Ruby. Good luck and congrats!

It's decided! Finally. It's stressed me out all pregnancy but our dd2 finally has a name we are both 100% happy with. Emilia Ruby :-) Now if she could just hold on 26 days until my planned section that'd be great!
