I've posted here before, but we are no closer for coming up with a boy's name. DC2 is due in a month and we don't know whether it is a boy or a girl.
We have a shortlist for a boy, but they all seem to have a slight problem with them:
Arthur (but this is the name of DS's best friend - I know this won't be for ever but don't want to confuse DS)
Thomas (but this is the name of DS's teddy bear!)
William (but would this get shortened to Willy?)
Edward (but this is DH's nephew's name so we can't use that)
Archie (but don't like Archibald)
Idris (possibly too Welsh for someone who doesn't actually live in Wales?)
Emlyn (ditto)
I also quite like James or Benedict, but DH doesn't.
I thought it was looking quite royal, so thought about other royal names, but not keen on George or Charles, and Harry/Henry is very popular.
So - any thoughts on our shortlist? or any contenders to add to it?
