Well I don't like Astrid I ADORE it, but just for fun would like other girl suggestions (they don't necessarily have to have a scandi/Germanic feel, just a similar quirkiness)

To give you more if an idea of my taste, I have a ds called Eli and other boys names I love are, Arlo, Asa, Ezra, Cassius, Kit, Rex!

Thanks in advance!

I love love love the name Astrid and considered it for my nearly here 3rd daughter.

I don't think I have a 'type' of name that I love really so the other names I love many not help a fellow lover of Astrid at all. But, for what it's worth, these are my (current - I'm fickle!) favourite names:

Arabella, Amy, Avery, Amberley, Anya, Ayla, Alexis, Charlotte, Cerys, Christabel, Cassidy, Eden, Enya, Felicity, Francesca, Gabriella, Giovanna, Genevieve, Georgina, Giselle, Genesis, Hannah, Hayley, Isabella, Imogen, Isis, Jessica, Juliette, Kendall, Matilda, Miranda, Madeleine, Mika, Mila, Nicole, Natasha, Naomi, Octavia, Rebecca, Rhiannon, Sadie, Savannah, Susannah, Thea, Xanthe, Zara, Zia.

I know an asta, is that similar?

I'm rubbish at baby names, I read this by accident!

grobagsforever · 09/03/2014 20:32

I have an Astrid. I love, love, love her name. DD2 will be Esmeralda. I also like Alba.

MyNameIsKenAdams · 09/03/2014 19:29

Olive is what we will be calling this one if she is a DD2.
