When you were at school...

What name's were there always more than one of in your year? I was one of 4 Louise's! Also 3 Georgia's, 3 Lucy's, 2 Emma's, 2 Jessica's, 2 Elizabeth's (and that was at a small all girls school with just 50 girls in the year). I decided at a young age my children would have slightly more unique names as I got fed up of being "Louise M" rather than just "Louise!

I was one of about 4 million Claire's.
I don't know anyone with the same name as my son.

Sophie/Sofie, Stephanie/Stefanie, Inge. This was in Belgium though (Flanders). 90's.

Hayley, Katie, Amy/Aimee, Laura, Nicola.

Thomas, David (we had 2 Davids with the same surname, plus a David Something-Else, just in my class!) Jordan.

When I was at secondary school, we had two Florences- I'd never heard of a single one before that!

I am very old so there were lots of Susans , Patricias, Carols and Sharons.

Boys were Christopher, Paul, Stephen and Graham.

I like my name because it's common enough that people have heard it, but not so common that I've always been Susan A (for example). Although at the moment I'm in two clubs with two other women with the same name and same initial. I am therefore Blonde Susan at one and Tall Susan at the other.

This was Catholic school in N.I.

I always liked that I had a more unusual name - would have hated being one of three people with the same name in a class.

It has definitely influenced how I name my DC too. I hate popular names.

I'm 30, all my friends at school were called Sarah, Claire, Emma, Hannah, Rebecca, Rachel, Laura and Cat/Kate/Katie/Catherine.

I was one of 4 Marias in my year. We also had a Marianne & a Mary-Ann.

We had 3 Carolines too
