When you were at school...

What name's were there always more than one of in your year? I was one of 4 Louise's! Also 3 Georgia's, 3 Lucy's, 2 Emma's, 2 Jessica's, 2 Elizabeth's (and that was at a small all girls school with just 50 girls in the year). I decided at a young age my children would have slightly more unique names as I got fed up of being "Louise M" rather than just "Louise!

Most women my age or thereabouts seem to be called Emma

There were plenty of Joannes and Lisas at my secondary school, and many Roberts and Matthews.

slightly off topic but it amuses me that there are 6 boys named Thomas (or variant) in DDs class of 30 at school

Primary school there was a fair few Jodie's. Boys names were a mixed bag.

Secondary school there were loads of Leanne's and bizarrely enough a few Liam's.

All the girls in my year were either called Karen or Emma that may or may not be a slight exaggeration

Boys were Andrew, Lee, Stuart or Daniel

Born early 60s so the girls were mostly called Susan, Helen, Sarah/Sara, Jane, Kim, Julie and Deborah. The boys were mainly called Andrew, Mark or Stephen. Glad there are more exciting names for girls now.
