Yes for sure. They're very similar indeed.

DonkeysDontRideBicycles · 11/03/2014 10:29

They sound fine together to me.

GimmeDaBoobehz · 09/03/2014 18:19

I know someone with these sibsets.

One is called Issy and the other is called Gabby.

I think it's really nice.

But I seem to be outvoted, sorry!

alita7 · 09/03/2014 01:48

Bad idea... Which is the name you already have?

Sharaluck · 08/03/2014 23:39

Yes, sorry.

Gabrielle and Isabella
Or
Gabriella and Isobel

^ Are much better

fuzzle · 08/03/2014 23:25

yes

you need to tell us which one you've already named.

UniS · 08/03/2014 14:00

old hat - meaning- its a popular combination that plenty of others families have used before.

mammamiaaaaa · 08/03/2014 11:08

What do you mean 'a bit old hat'? Thanks

UniS · 07/03/2014 23:45

a bit old hat. I know a sibling pair with those names. only Gabriella I know while i know a few Izzy's.

BlueStarsAtNight · 07/03/2014 23:10

I know twins with those names, always thought it was a bit matchy. They go by Gabby and Bella though.

looki · 07/03/2014 21:46

Yes .

SoftSheen · 07/03/2014 21:45

Yes. What if their separate groups of friends each decide to abbreviate their names to Ella?

Littlefish · 07/03/2014 21:42

Definitely too much.

BethGoLightly · 07/03/2014 21:39

Yes

BlueChampagne · 07/03/2014 21:38

Corinna?

intheround · 07/03/2014 19:55

Yes

lottieandmia · 07/03/2014 19:51

Yes I would say it should be either or. These two names were the final two on my short list for dd3.

squoosh · 07/03/2014 19:49

Way too much.

gilliangoof · 07/03/2014 19:48

For me, yes. But if you like them go for it. They are not outlandish names. They are both good names.

Onesleeptillwembley · 07/03/2014 19:48

Yes, especially having the same endings.

Mintyy · 07/03/2014 19:45

Yes. I would want to have a complete contrast ... like Mary or Ruth or Florence or something.

I know a family who have an Evie and a Genevieve - I find that slightly odd.

soontobeslendergirl · 07/03/2014 19:41

Gabrielle and Isabella sound better together - or Gabriella and Isobel depending on which you already have :)

HahaHarrie · 07/03/2014 19:21

I would say yes, too much. I do like Gabriella and Isadora suggestion.

Homebirthquestion · 07/03/2014 18:58

I know a Gabriella and Isabella. It's fine since they have nicknames anyway.

Clearly lots of people think it's a good combo since they're in the top ten twin names in the US.

fieldfare · 07/03/2014 17:45

If you shortened them to Ella and Izzy no, the full versions are a bit much together.
