I like names that can be shortened to cute nn's?

Like... Harriet to Hattie
Matilda to Tilly ( ur rent front runner but willing to change my mind!)

Husband is Irish and would prefer an Irish (girls) name, but is willing to let me go with whatever I really like within reason.

Phoebe to bee was a consideration, but I think I've gone off it.

6 weeks to go.
Any ideas? Smile

LOVE Winnie, but dh says no.
Also like Minnie, but can't shake the mouse connotations.

Love Bessie and it's a family name. But can't have Elizabeth, it was the middle name of our deceased daughter.

Can't have Polly, or Pippa or Penny, as we have a Poppy!

Oh and yy, to the nz pronunciation also! Example, someone said Phoebe the other day, kind of like "phoyboy"?!

Can't have Lottie as brothers dp is also having a girl, which will be called Charlotte/Lottie.

My baby will have my grans middle name which is quite old lady.
So couldn't have an old lady first name like Edie/Elsie.
Although I think they're lovely.

Not keen on Connie, or Lizzie.
Too many Belles/ Bella's at school.

Dh said no to Florence although I love it.

Couldn't have Penny as we already have a Poppy!
