Jackson or Jaxon??

We have decided our baby will be called this if its a boy but can't decide how to spell it. Any thoughts?

We were going for Jax originally, but everyone Itold thought I said Jack.

If you're not naming him jaxon (to be called jax); I'd go for Jackson

If you say both as they are spelt they are 2 different names anyway so definitely trying too hard if you want Jaxon to sound like Jackson.

Good luck with your scan OP - mine is next week and I'm really tempted to find out the sex this time!! Didn't even consider it with DD. How weird!

Thanks everyone else for your opinions, I happen to agree with you all but was just checking before deciding. Now to find out if its a boy, only 2 weeks to go:-)

I would be Confused at Jaxon. Would wonder if it was pronounced Jack-on or something. I think it's an awful spelling. Sorry.

I know a little Jax. Everyone hears Jack. The mum is forever saying Jax-with-an-x. Then wonders why people give her a Shock face.

It's awful but if you really have to saddle the poor child, don't use the 'x'. It manages the difficult job of marking a dreadful name even worse.

Another vote for Jackson. Imagine your child having to spell out their name for the rest of their life, it would be very tiresome.

Another vote for Jackson. I personally think trying to be original with spelling is just trying a bit too hard.

Jackson, I've spelt my DD name unconventionally (through ignorance to the true spelling) and it honestly drives me potty, I have to spell it to everyone, Confused then feel abit silly as people probably think I was trying to be "different" Hmm

I am checking my crystal ball and said crystal ball tells me that no one will say they prefer Jaxon.
