The coolest little girls names you've heard

Going on from the boy thread. I'm 14 weeks so don't know what I'm having yet but I have the feeling its a girl. Only problem is we have a boys list a mile long but only some ok girls names.

I love Teddy, Tyger, Wolf, Fox, Dexter etc for boys but can't seem to find any names like this for girls. Any ideas?

The trouble is that everyone assumes that their child will be beautiful, happy, clever, confident, outgoing and happy to stand out from the crowd. Not everyone is or does.

I don't know, I think I would love to be called the majority of names on this thread.

My name is Rebecca. It was ranked number 5ish when I was born and there are hundreds of us. Pretty name but zzzzzz. One class I was in had to have Rebecca, Becca, Becky, Bex and Rebecca M

the coolest girl in my school was called shelley (michelle), so just sayin' there's no guarantee a cool name=a cool child!

I was going to call dd ivy 3 yrs ago, I thought it was unusual but its featured a lot lately.
The Name I chose is lovely and not on this thread so I'm glad it's apparently still unusual.

DH and I are teachers, so we wanted to pick names that were more unusual and less likely that we would end up teaching a child with that name. It makes it hard to pick a name when you want something that is rare.

We have two DS so none of my girl names have had a chance to be used but Neva is dying to get out, I just love it. Elise is a beautiful name and reasonably rare. I loved Angelique but DH said it was too pretentious. Imogen and Izzy were other favourites. I also like Thomasina.

These are just my opinions...
