Anisa means good companion and I think there is overwhelming consensus on this this thread that your dd should be called Anisa.

I was once looking for a name which meant 'friendly' to apply to a lovely friendly little stray cat I was rescuing and I chose Ermina. I think it is a very pretty name.

MrsEdinburgh · 13/06/2014 19:24

Love your short list but have you considered Amel? It means hope in Arabic.

kirstyd1 · 13/06/2014 19:19

I do love farrah and would have it but my stepsons name sounds very similar to it x
