Any thoughts as to Sid - I love it, but do not know (or know of) a single one, and worry that it's for a reason

Mind, I dont know anyone with DDs name (M e g) and I didnt worry about that.

A very cool young mum I know called her son Sidney - so it must be uber cool!!

I was randomly thinking about whether i like it as a name or not today and the verdict is positive!!

Not personally keen on Sid - I know one girl called Sydney who goes by the name "Syd". Not my taste at all. Don't know any young male Sids though.

FWIW, I know lots of Megs as it was very popular when my DCs were born.

As a medic, it just makes me think of Sudden Infant Death (SID)i.e. Cot death. But maybe I'm just weird.

I know a 2 year old called Sid.

I was a bit when I first heard what they'd called him but I have to admit that it really suits him.
