It's pretty. But I prefer Arianna Isabella ;)

moggle · 19/02/2014 16:06

I like it! I have only ever known one Ariane, I really didn't like her, but weirdly it hasn't put me off the name, so it must be a good one :-)
Personally prefer it with one N.

HyvaPaiva · 19/02/2014 15:52

Ariane is lovely

MrsRV · 19/02/2014 15:51

yes Tea... at last! I really really love it the more I think about it. Hubs said he liked it lastnight so I'm hoping to persuade him it's the one.

MrsRV · 19/02/2014 12:53

Ariane Isobel??? what do people think?

Definitely Ariane. Much prettier imo.

needtobediscreet · 19/02/2014 10:24

I don't think the spelling matters too
much but I prefer Ariana to Ariane simply because I generally prefer names ending in an 'a' sound as they're softer in my view. Likewise while I like Sophie I prefer Sophia.

I like Arianne or Arianna (I think Ariana would get pronounced Ari-are-nah)

needtobediscreet · 18/02/2014 21:49

I prefer Ariana.

ReindeerBollocks · 18/02/2014 21:47

I like Arianna. It's becoming more mainstream - I've heard of a couple of children called Arianna in the last few years.

DramaAlpaca · 18/02/2014 21:47

I think I also prefer Arianne. I agree that Marianne is nicer still.

LizLemonaid · 18/02/2014 21:45

I had a beautiful friend called Ariane. She was half French and spelt it with one n.
