Matilda, Alice or Natasha?

I love them all and will probably wait and see what suits best but am interested in your opinions please!

Which do you like best?

Middle name not decided yet but would like one with family connections and our surname is one syllable beginning with D.

Thanks for your help so far!

Matilda seems to be the most popular and probably my favourite but I didn't realise it was so popular. I'm a secondary school teacher and haven't heard of any Matildas but I suppose they are all little! I've taught some lovely Natashas and I think it sounds quite strong and Russian, not too girly, which makes me quite like it, never thought it was 80s but I suppose it was more popular then!

My partner likes Rachel as well. Any thoughts on this? Do you think it's a bit dated too?

Matilda

Natasha gets short to Tash (bleugh)

Alice - I don't like it

mathanxiety · 15/02/2014 06:22

Alice, then Matilda. I would not choose Natasha. Natalia is much nicer.

NadiaWadia · 15/02/2014 03:40

Well maybe they had better taste in the eighties. None of these silly OAP names like 'Wilf' that seem to be popular.

squoosh · 15/02/2014 02:40

Natasha is lovely!

1000 x nicer than the other two names.

scarletforya · 15/02/2014 02:38

Alice is the nicest.

Matilda is too much like Hilda, plus it's overused.

Natasha is awful. Very eighties.

NadiaWadia · 15/02/2014 02:31

Alice and Natasha are both lovely.

Matilda is OK.

aGirlDownUnder1 · 15/02/2014 02:00

Defiantly Matilda. Alice is alright, not keen on Natasha it sounds a bit dated

Innogen · 15/02/2014 01:50

Faddy, not daddy.

Innogen · 15/02/2014 01:42

Natasha Alice would be my choice, first name, middle name.

Classic and not daddy like Matilda. So many baby Matildas.

natandmat · 14/02/2014 20:34

Definitely Matilda! Matilda Alice sounds lovely too!

squoosh · 14/02/2014 20:14

Definitely Natasha.

Alice and Matilda are a bit dull and buttoned up.

Layl77 · 14/02/2014 20:13

Alice or Matilda

shesaidgleeba · 14/02/2014 20:13

i love alice, like matilda, not keen on natasha (mostly because where we live it would become 'tasha)

Coveredinweetabix · 14/02/2014 20:11

I like all of them but Matilda is quite popular at the moment (in the SE anyway) so I'd go for one of the other names.

mrsbug · 14/02/2014 20:11

Matilda is lovely but I know lots of baby Matildas.

Alice is also lovely and I don't know any.

Natasha sounds a bit 70s / 80s

wishywashywanda · 14/02/2014 20:10

I like them all although prefer Matilda, it was a possibility for dd. Smile
