Can't decide for ds2. All other names I like have been vetoed by dh!

Rafe

Alisvolatpropiis · 10/02/2014 22:00

Rafe, by all the country miles.

Joel isn't the nicest of the biblical names.

Ralph prn Rafe is an upper class name trick and quite frankly ridiculous.

I have a Raphael who is Raffy, Rafe, Rafa or Roo depending on who is addressing him. I love his name.

Joel

How about just Raffy? Or do you think it sounds like it should be short for something? Or a dog?! This is so hard! Girl's names are much easier.

Joel for me please, lovely name.

MyNameIsSuz · 10/02/2014 20:19

I like Joel a lot! It's more timeless so will age better I think. Really not keen on Rafe.

sonlypuppyfat · 10/02/2014 20:19

Joel every single time.

Pregnantberry · 10/02/2014 20:16

Joel, Rafe sounds pretentious to me.

Prefer Joel. Really don't like Rafe - always seems a bit pretentious to me, especially when it's spelled Ralph

Bezzabelle · 10/02/2014 20:10

Joal I guess!!

I like Rafferty but got a long surname so is a bit of a mouthful! Hence the short names!

Rafe is lovely! As is Rafferty.

Not so keen on Joel - do you pronounce it Joe-el or Joal?
