Theodore for a boy, so what names for a girl?

We have finally (I think) decided on the name Theodore if this one turns out to be a boy.

But we are really struggling to come up with girls names.

So if we like Theodore (Ted) for a boy, what do you think we might like for a girl?

Thank you!

I love Teddie as nn for a girl too. Knew a lady when I was small who was called this and I thought she was so cool.

DH won't consider Theodora for a girl for some reason, though I think it's great!

How funny 5, we were discussing Thalia just this morning (great taste!).

If ds1 had been a girl he would have bdeen thalia, but he is theodore abd as we have a theodore we coukdnt use thalia for dd.

Dd was going to be emmett, after 4 boys I assumed no 5 would be a boy as well. We really struggked to choose a girks name, but we love her name :)

Mistletoenail3 · 09/02/2014 19:54

5mad things, merryn is a very pretty Cornish name but you would have been laughed out of cornwall with Emmett!
That is what the locals in cornwall call the tourists in summer! Lucky escape!

5madthings · 09/02/2014 19:56

I know thats what thye think but we aremt in Cornwall! I know ine biy called Emmett, a teen and he has no problems with his name despite goign to cornwall every summer as they have a holiday home there.

We wamted emmett after dr emmett brown!

If we have another baby and its a boy he will be Emmett Cassius Tate :)
