Boy shortlist- what do you think?

Found out I'm having another boy and as I have two already it makes it more difficult to think a name I like.
Current shortlist is:
Alexander
Benedict
Sebastian
Reuben
Nathaniel
Franklin
Max

My favourites are Alexander and Sebastian. Not keen on Benedict or Franklin.

Yes! I will have to remind DH that my choices are better We already have a Joshua and a Tobias.

Quite like Alexander & Max too.

Sebastian, Benedict & Franklin are a little too fussy IMHO.

I have a 4 year old Reuben. Was a family name and I still love it.

I also like Nathaniel and Sebastian

I know two Franklins and they are both Mexican. Have no idea why that would be a popular name in Mexico.

Alexander has always been my top boys name but neither of my boys looked like one when they were born. Also DH doesn't particularly love it. Maybe this time it will look like an Alexander.

Alexander is great, but it's very popular and because of that definitely the most 'vanilla' of your list...

I'd go for Sebastian, Max, (Maxim?), Nathaniel - in that order.

Don't like Franklin - makes me think of horrid frozen explorer corpses.

Benedict has teasing potential.

Reuben ok!

Max, Alexander and Sebastian are all on my shortlist, I can't decide between them although think that Max sounds better with a longer surname. Do you like the nicknames for Alexander and Sebastian?

How about Francis instead of franklin?

Today I am leaning towards Reuben Alexander as being his full name. I agree about Franklin- I think Frankie is cute for a little kid but can't see it on a grown up and don't particularly like Frank. I also like Raphael but I don't think it will work.
