Popularity of Jack?

How popular is the name Jack where you are? (And where are you if you don't mind me asking!)

I've always loved this name and trying to narrow down boys names for DC3 (already have 2 DSs). I know it's always been high up in the baby name charts and even no 1 for a while, but I only know 2 (aged 6 and 2) and I think I know quite a lot of little ones!

I'm in the SW and know a few Jacks oldest is 21 and youngest is 3.

You should use it if you like it, don't worry about it being popular.

I know one Jack.

I don't think it's very common, we are in east London.

Thinking about it, I know a boy called Jack, which is a nickname for something or other, but he would be 14 now.

SW London. I know 6 Jacks from age 5 to newborn.

However I don't know so many little ones.

I know 2 12 year olds and a couple of older teens. No younger ones. SE England.

Jack was traditionally a nickname for John- why not go for John and then you'll have a choice!

I know a 5-year-old Jack, but just the one. I'm in the SE.

I think it's a lovely name, fwiw.

I have a work colleague who has a seven year old son, Jack, and a friend who lives 200 miles away's sister jas a three year old Jack.

That's it.

My DM has been a CM for 25 years and has never minded a Jack.
