Really lovely classic name. It's not wet at all. It's a strong name. I think bond when I think of james.

I'm not a massive fan of Jamie but as he'll be James on bc anyway, I don't think the nickname matters so much.

There's nothing wrong with Jamie at all, it's just not my style.

James very much is. Alas I can never use it Sad

Personally...I find it a bit 'wet' (kid who cries a lot with a permanent snot line). But that's just me I think!

I really like it and it's on our shortlist.
My only reservation is that I know of 3 Jamie's and 2 of those are female.
