I'm still ttc dc3 so plenty of time yet but can't help think of names. What do you think of Quinn? For either girl or boy?

I like it! I never realised it was a girl's name though.

Panzee · 26/01/2014 19:48

I keep singing The Mighty Quinn. That's no bad thing.

Hiddlesnake · 26/01/2014 19:48

Anyway, my first thought was quim.

Hiddlesnake · 26/01/2014 19:47

There is a female Quinn in Glee, isn't there?

Hiddlesnake · 26/01/2014 19:47

There is a female Quinn in Glee, isn't there?

ODearMe · 26/01/2014 19:44

I stand corrected ;-)

Panzee · 26/01/2014 19:31

Quincy was a pathologist. Quinsy is tonsil pus. :o

Quinn was Daria's airhead sister in the cartoon. She was in the Fashion Club. :)

SS3J · 26/01/2014 19:05

I had also never heard of quim! I don't mind it, but I would definitely assume a Quinn was a boy.

ODearMe · 26/01/2014 15:46

There is an illness called Quincy, it is a severe form of tonsillitis Confused

Panzee · 26/01/2014 14:13

As long as it's not your surname too... :o

MamaLazarou · 26/01/2014 14:08

Quim.

ODearMe · 25/01/2014 11:59

Not keen

sashh · 25/01/2014 11:48

Another one who thinks Quim.

Mrsindecision · 25/01/2014 10:46

Quim first thought here too I'm afraid! Wouldn't choose it for either boy or girl.

poppydaisy · 25/01/2014 10:18

We have one and he is fab too!

hubbahubster · 25/01/2014 09:22

Quim is the first thing that comes to mind. Sorry. It's a shame because I like it as a name for either sex too, but I couldn't use it any more than I could call a girl Fanny.

poorincashrichinlove · 20/01/2014 19:30

Love it. Immediately thought of a boy, but it's cool for a girl too. I did think quim though.

cantthinkofagoodone · 20/01/2014 19:11

We have one and he is awesome.

About a 50/50 response from people who either LOVE itor say aafter a pause that it's interesting.

DianaOfThemyscira · 20/01/2014 19:03

There is a character on the American TV series Dexter (about a pathologist-by-day-serial-killer-by-night) named Quinn.

He's a bit of all right :D

gruffalosfriend · 20/01/2014 18:58

Sounds so masculine, like Finn.

Don't like it for a girl at all.

LePetitPont · 20/01/2014 18:52

There was a Quinn in One Tree Hill too - definitely a girl's name.

sleepingbeautiful · 19/01/2014 19:43

I know a male one and a female one. Quite like it as a boy's name, really dislike as a girl's name.

jazzyjenbo · 19/01/2014 13:11

There was/is a girl in glee called Quinn and I know a 3 yr old girl with this name. Like it x

peppinagiro · 19/01/2014 10:33

Quim. For sure. She'd have had an awful time at our school (or he, for that matter. Quims are gender neutral!). Don't do it.

Even without the quimness, it's just a bit American sounding for me.

squoosh · 18/01/2014 18:49

Have met lots of people with Quinn as a surname, doesn't work for me as a first name.
